Lousianna Tech’s mascot, an adorable English bull dog named Tech XX, died
after an employee at Sexton Animal Health Center left him outside.

The employee let the dog outside Sunday so he could go to the bathroom but
forgot to bring him back inside, according to Patrick Sexton, the veterinarian
who owns the facility.

Temperatures in Ruston, La., that day soared to a blistering 102 degrees and
Tech XX apparently died of a heat stroke.

Sexton said that the worker tried to cover up the dog’s death, misleading
people into believing he had gone missing….
